1 dead, 1 injured in Florida home invasion (AP)

APOPKA, Fla. ? Authorities in Florida are responding to reports of multiple shots fired, and at least one person has been killed.

Details of the incident early Friday in Apopka, near Orlando, are sketchy.

The Orlando Sentinel reports http://thesent.nl/vFFrex that a home invasion suspect was killed during an exchange of gunfire, while another suspect remains on the run. It also reports that the woman who owns the house is being treated at a hospital.

A spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Office did not immediately release any further details.
